My name is Anastasia Salazar-Mulrooney.  I'm 16 years old and I go to Lowell High School.  I like being with people I love, staying active, being productive, and having a good time. I am a program officer at YFYI and I really enjoy working here.  Youth leadership and empowerment is important because I feel like youth don't always realize how much is possible for them and the positive changes they can make.  I am a good community worker because I like connecting with people and I really do care about my community.  I like my job because the staff at YFYI feels like a family. I've learned a lot about myself through the job training.  Although I haven't offially started working here, I am really excited to be a part of a successful project.
