My name is Alma Ruznic and I am 16 years old.  I have been living in San Francisco for most of my life, and currently I work as a program officer for YFYI.  When I'm not going to school and working I like to spend time with friends and family.  I love working at CHALK because it gives me the opportunity to help other motivated youth achieve their goals and work with their communities.  YFYI is all about empowering youth and this is crucial if we want to see the young people be successful.  My favorite part about working here is that that they believe that with the right training young people can do the same job as an adult.  Working at CHALK has really helped me develop my work ethic and leadership skills, both which are essential to shaping my future.
